Help, support, gain knowledge, prosperity, harmony, nature friends,

Please support the nature friendly activity. It is for our happiness.

You’ve seen the news. Our treasured Australian icon is under threat. Not just from climate change, but from tonnes of soil loaded with chemicals and fertiliser that pours into its waters each year, suffocating coral and fish, devastating the marine ecosystem, and feeding crown of thorns starfish threatening the survival of this fragile ecosystem. Dear KUMARAGUPTHA -CURR IN SRI ALNKA Thank you for your interest in our work. Because of supporters like you, each year we’re able to restore and conserve thousands of hectares of Australian land to improve biodiversity; rebuild habitat for threatened animals; naturally capture and store carbon and improve our resilience against the impacts of climate change. Today we are writing to ask you to support Reef Aid, a program of work to help improve the health of the Great Barrier Reef. The good news? Together, we can help restore it. One of the reef’s main threats is sediment. Disturbance and land clearing have created thousands of hectares of deep alluvial gullies in the catchment area. When it rains heavily they send plumes of pollutants straight out to the reef. The good news? If we resurface and replant the gullies and wetlands with native plants and trees, we can reduce this run-off by 75%. The road to restoration Restoring the wetlands is a massive undertaking. But the Australian Government has recognised the significance of our work and will match donations dollar for dollar up to $2 million. Local landholders are also chipping in. But without help from big-hearted Australians we’re still well short of our target for total rehabilitation. Can you make a tax deductible donation? The more funding we raise the more land we can rehabilitate. And the faster we can improve the health of our Great Barrier Reef. As Australians we’re the custodians of this world heritage site. It’s one of the seven natural wonders of the world and the largest living organism on earth. Please help us restore it. YES! I want to help restore Australia’s iconic Great Barrier Reef Make a tax deductible donation now Our amazing Great Barrier Reef contributes $5.2 billion tourist dollars per year and employs 68,000 people.
